01
Introduction

Oakridge Model United Nations (Oakridge MUN) welcomes delegations representing schools, institutions, organizations, and independent groups participating collectively in the conference.

The Best Delegation Award, along with any associated recognition or prize, shall only be awarded if a minimum of five eligible Group Delegations are officially registered and approved by the Oakridge MUN Secretariat for the conference.

All delegation heads and members are expected to adhere strictly to these guidelines to ensure professionalism, fairness, consistency, and smooth administrative coordination throughout the event.

02
Objective of Group Delegations

The Group Delegation system at Oakridge MUN is designed to:

  • Promote coordinated participation across committees
  • Encourage institutional collaboration and representation
  • Recognize collective excellence and teamwork

Delegations registered under this system will be eligible for special recognition, including consideration for the Best Delegation Award.

Cash Prize — ₹18,000 (Rupees eighteen thousand) awarded to the Best Delegation
03
Committee Representation

To be eligible for the Best Delegation Award, a school's delegation must be represented in a minimum of 8 out of 16 committees. Delegations that do not meet this threshold will not be considered for the award.

04
Payment & Registration

4.1 Individual Registration

  • All delegates, regardless of delegation affiliation, must complete registration individually through the official Oakridge MUN registration portal.
  • Each participant is required to fill out the registration form accurately, including personal details, institutional affiliation, and committee preferences.

4.2 Individual Payment

  • Every delegate must pay the delegate fee individually.
  • Group payments or combined transactions will not be accepted.
  • Registration will only be considered complete upon successful payment confirmation.

4.3 Group Delegation Form

Once all delegates have individually registered and completed payment, the Head Delegate must submit the official Group Delegation Registration Form (Excel Sheet). The form must include:

  • Delegation name
  • Name and contact details of the Head Delegate
  • Complete list of delegation members
  • Committee allocations
  • Country or portfolio assignments (where applicable)
05
Delegation Size

Delegations may only consist of a maximum of 15 participants, and must fulfill the minimum requirement of representation across all committees.

Schools may register multiple group delegations if they wish to do so, however, an individual participant cannot be a part of 2 distinct delegations, and each delegation must have a different head and point of contact.

06
Eligibility for Best Delegation Award

The Best Delegation Award shall be presented to the delegation that demonstrates outstanding and consistent collective performance across all committees throughout the conference. Evaluation will be conducted on the basis of an internal assessment criteria established by the Executive Board for the individual awards. The awards given by the executive board are not subject to appeal.

Delegates earning individual awards and part of the delegation will contribute points toward their delegation's total score.
